3.3 The internal structure of the stars
Knowledge of their internal structure is provided by the analysis of their radiation, for example the light, which can be broken down into its spectrum.
Each ray is part of the signature of an element present within the star.
Represented on this abject, are 4 stars that are typical of those that can be seen within our galaxy. There are in fact a number of different stages in the evolution of the life of a star. lt is interesting to compare the variations in size, density and temperature of the stars that are represented, as follows :
A red giant
A white dwarf
A neutron star
